We recently visited some sunflower fields in Nebraska City. It was our second visit, as we went last year as well (admittedly, it was such a scorcher last year, we were not in the best mood, to begin with). But this time, we were all in high spirits and ready to make the most of the sun, the flowers, and the experience together as a family.

SUNFLOWER FIELDS IN NEBRASKA
The place we visited is called Nelson Produce & Farm (formerly known as Pam Nelson Produce), based in Nebraska City, NE. We broke out some pretty dresses which made for a wonderful excuse to take some pretty photos in the sunflower fields.
My Arina dress is one of the most coveted pieces from Gal Meets Glam’s entire collection. The bow shoulders, the print, fit and flare style, make this an absolute favorite design that is so versatile to wear for so many different occasions. I LOVE this piece!
On the way out of the sunflower fields, we noticed some hay bales which were turned into a playground for children to climb on and have some fun. So we clambered on to get a cute snap on my phone together. The day was filled with sweet moments and memories. Watching the girls play together and “race” each other throughout the flowers made my heart sing. We are truly blessed with an incredible family, and the opportunity to live in this country and experience the culture of the USA while we’re here. These are moments we will remember for a lifetime… and we have some very sweet photos to keep the memories fresh in our minds.
